New Easter Sampler and Pattern

I finished up a brand new sampler a couple of days ago. I think it turned out pretty sweet for spring, or Easter. This one has two folky rabbits, a basket with a decorated egg and bow, and a date and partial alphabet. It was really fun to stitch. I have the pattern all done for it too. You can find it in my Etsy store, or Pattern Mart. My links are on the left side of the page if that makes it easier. I have also listed some finished work on eBay. My items all end on Tuesday. I am going to list on there from time to time. Here is the link if you want to take a peek at what I listed.

We dodged a winter storm today. I am so thankful for that. I am ready for spring as is most everybody I suppose............... Have a glorious week!

Three New Patterns and a Big Congratulations

I sat down this last weekend, and like a dog to a bone, I didn't move from my computer until I finished three new patterns. I vowed last night I wasn't going to be at my computer all day today, and here I am this morning bright and early. LOL! I made patterns for both my child mittens, and the Christmas ornie I had in my Lemon Poppy Seeds Shoppe for the Nov. 15th update. I have one of the pictures here.

Some of you know I am a NASCAR nut, and I am so excited after yesterday's race. A big congratulations to Jimmie, Chad, HMS and the #48 Lowe's Chevy team for going down in history as the only driver, crew chief and team to win four consecutive NASCAR Sprint Cup championships in a row. Wooooo-Hooooo!!!! That's my boy!
But now that racing season is over, what do I do with myself on Sunday afternoon? (sigh)

Pinkeep Dolly and Candle

Both items have sold, but feel free to email me for ordering.

I wanted to share a couple things that I made for my Lemon Poppy Shoppe update. The dolly is so sweet. I just love her. I used a pattern from Simple Country Blessings, and just added my own twist on it for Christmas.

I also love making my candles, and had to do one up for Christmas. They smell so yummy. I like the potted poinsettia design because you can leave it out all winter.

If you have time, take a peek at my Lemon Poppy Shoppe.

Many blessings....Shelly.

My First Post

I have finally sat down and created a blog with some help and prodding by my friend Jenny of Country Rustic Primitives. Figuring out what I wanted to put on my blog was not near as difficult as figuring out what I wanted to sit here and type. But like most mothers, I am going to take the easy way out the first time, and talk about my three wonderful children.

My oldest boy, Jordan, in his transformer costume is 10. My daughter, Hannah, the pretty lil' witch is 8. The lil' skeleton is my baby at the age of 4. His name is Devon. That is me standing behind them. I have discovered that I like to dress up at Halloween time as much as the kids do. I still love to eat candy too.....especially chocolate! mmmmmm.......

I'll have more to share in the days to come, as I am working on some updates for my Lemon Poppy Seeds Shoppe, and a few new patterns for Christmas.

Blessings to all for now.--Shelly
